MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR

 

Preventive maintenance and repair are important preconditions for preserving the value, performance and life of the product. This includes both in-house and externally manufactured products.

One aspect of maintenance and repair is reprocessing of worn parts which, although they exhibit wear marks as a result of their use, can continue to be used troublefree after treatment.

Moreover, severely worn or defective components can be remanufactured in production with all of their original parameters, and can then be installed as replacements.

 
     

 

Repair of torsional cylinder piston (SDZ)

The most frequent repair jobsare performed by recoatingfollowed by sizing to the torsionalcylinder housing.

Less frequently pistons may need to be replaced due to cracks or other damage.

In fewer cases, the wear is either too extensive or cracks on the housing require remanufacture of the housing.

This eliminates gouges and areas of wear.More costly refabrication is unnecessary.

We apply coating and chrome plating and grind all fit diameters to size.

Bearing repair

The bearings are also subjectto high loading. pressure and force losses can becorrected by restoring theplastic coating.
